However, BioNatal did face a major challenge when we tested jojoba oil extraction for the first time. Jojoba seeds are very large and hard; they exert considerable pressure on the equipment and increase the temperature during oil extraction.

The specialists at BioNatal LLC modified an oil press specifically for jojoba seeds. It was a challenge, but we succeeded. We now extract our jojoba seed oil at +46°C, which is at the upper limit of optimal cold pressing and still well within the standard cold-pressing range of up to +65°C.

This experience has made us highly skeptical that all jojoba oils on the market are truly cold-pressed, despite what their labels claim.
